The Championships: Qualifying Events
Every winter hundreds of SkillsUSA Illinois members partake in the annual Qualifying Events (QE). These are regional career competitions and serve as the gateway to compete in The Championships: Illinois' Elite Career Competitions. Chapters are encouraged to host local career competitions before advancing members to the Qualifying Events process.

Update on Qualifying Conferences (regional competitions)
Qualifying Conferences (regional competitions) will not be offered this year. SkillsUSA Illinois is currently evaluating the best way to bring back hands-on qualifying events in 2025.
